The area surrounding the hotel is lively and full of character , you'll get plenty of local flavour just by walking down the street. this hotel is extremely basic , the rooms are spartan at best, and the bathrooms leave something to be desired. While there is a small pool, there isn't much else in the way of facilities to speak of. the staff is friendly enough, but service can be patchy at times. Breakfast is cheap and cheerful, but don't expect too much.
Don't expect luxurious amenities or top, notch cleanliness at this hotel , it's definitely aimed at budget travelers who don't mind roughing it a bit.

Great location near waterfront and Zocolo. Small swimming area and clean pool. Reasonable menu for breakfast. Friendly staff, despite limited English. Good value for the money. Comfortable with ceiling fan.
Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.
